I received a letter from Vauxhall’s reminding me that my Mini was dues for serving.
I took in my Mini for full serving (£155) dropped it off on Friday the 23 rd of March and after full servicing I was informed by Vauxhall that there was a problem with the exhaust and parts (£276) would need to be ordered in and will arrive & be sorted on Monday.
Came Monday after noon we got another call that
The exhaust wasn’t the right fit so another new exhaust had to be ordered in and will arrive Wednesday and be fitted to the car.
Came Wednesday another phone call from Vauxhall’s saying the seal had to be changed and it won’t be ready for collection until Thursday.
I finished work @ 1700 hrs and left for Lisburn and on route had a phone call from Vauxhall asking if we were definately coming to pick the car on Thursday and if it was ok to pay over the phone.
Vauxhall took £431 off me on my way up to pick the car.
I got to Vauxhall’s to pick my car keys , got into the car to turn the engine on, only to find out that the engine management lights on the dashboard was still on.
Even thou they have already stated on paperwork that it was checked and I have paid for it.
I have driven 30 minutes that day for nothing.
I could not take my car and i went home very upset as too for my husband.
I left mini there at Vauxhall’s as there was no way I was taking it home after having to pay all that money for poor car servicing.
Not a very good experience

They kept my car for a whole week, without even offering for a courtesy car.
I don’t think I would ever take my car back to Vauxhall’s for serving & I wouldn’t reccomend it to anyone after my experience.
Overall very poor service.
